Samsung galaxy s20 5g ultra review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra may be a true groundbreaker that defines what we'll be doing with our phones, and with 5G, for subsequent few years. It's incredibly expensive at $1,399.99 and up, but its hardware promises to age well as a three-year investment, and a few of its features will undoubtedly beat even subsequent flagship iPhone. But while the hardware makes this the primary phone we're confident recommending for 5G well into 2021, connectivity and camera problems bring the Galaxy S20 Ultra backtrack to earth. We simply can't recommend you spend $1,400 on the phone as is.Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra |
You can own the world’s most advanced 5G phone, with the company’s best camera so far – if that's, you’re prepared to spend extra money than ever on a non-foldable smartphone.
The Ultra is all about three things: a huge 6.9-inch 120Hz display which will stretch your hand, a quad-lens rear camera array offering insane zoom levels and 8K video, and 5G antennas that enable higher peak speeds than even the new Galaxy S20.
We tested the S20 Ultra’s 108MP camera for an hour and were left impressed for several reasons. It captured such a lot detail in good light that we could crop in on images without losing quality – a minimum of not the maximum amount quality as we’d lose cropping a photograph from last year’s 12MP Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus cameras.
Samsung galaxy s20 Ultra has 5 Camera
The S20 Ultra features a 108MP f/1.8 main camera, a 48MP f/3.5 telephoto camera, and a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. There’s also a time-of-flight (ToF) depth camera on back aiding portrait photos and 3D scans, and a 40MP selfie camera on the front.
The primary cam uses a sizeable 108MP sensor which combines 9 tiny pixels into one big one with processing designed to make use of the additional data being gathered.
